mmguitarbar: Dude, guys! I was looking through really, really old photos and found the first Jazzmaster I ever worked on in an official capacity! This was at the shop I worked at in York, PA (home for me) Menchey Music. I’ll admit it: I had no freaking clue what I was doing. I remember approaching the thing like any other guitar, and boy did that get me nowhere quick. The customer was complaining that his strings wouldn’t stay in place, and I tried everything I could think of to no avail. Then I discovered the idea of shimming the neck pocket… and the rest, as they say, was history turned into semi-gainful employment.
mmguitarbar: This is my dream Jaguar, which I briefly mentioned earlier. Charcoal Frost Metallic, D&B neck (but slab rosewood feels best to me) and the kicker: Electric XII pickups. OMG WANT Also, if you feel like wasting literally days of your life, head on over to OSG and use their Dressing Room feature. It’s like a time vortex of guitar awesomeness.
guitarslob: 1956 Rickenbacker Combo 800. Very rare color. These are referred to as the “Tulip” Rickenbackers.  This one was on sale on eBay for $10,000. I love this color!

proguitarshop: I have no idea why I love this so much. I don’t even know who I am anymore. reidtheking: Fender Telecaster Is this customed? Anyone with the balls to take a pen to a white Tele receives my respect, no questions asked.  
proguitarshop: It’s kind of the Liberace of stratocasters. kllrqn: Art Nouveau Strat (1993) I love the inlays sort of continuing into the headstock. They absolutely nailed the floral thing.
